So Fine was the first album on the Pompeii label and contains no less than 4 singles, including one from The Ikettes. It features also a different version of Ike & Tina’s debut single A Fool In Love from 1960. The album was reviewed in Billboard magazine in it’s issue from July 13, 1968. In 2021, it was released as a purple vinyl edition with a gatefold cover.

Reissue

The album was released with many different cover pictures, depending on the country. In America, it was reissued as Too Hot To Hold and as Hot ’N’ Sassy, both with a different cover artwork. It was also part of the 2 disc compilation TNT , and the French The Great Album of Ike & Tina Turner (available with two different cover pictures). In Italy, it was re-issued without a title and in Europe, it was included into the 2 LP set The Best of Ike & Tina Turner. Additionally, it’s also part of the box set The Complete Pompeii Recordings.
