Shake A Tail Feather was taken from the album So Fine and features lead vocals from Tina Turner. It’s a cover from The Five Du-Tones, originally from 1963. The Ikettes usually performed the song in concert, live versions are available on the album Live In Paris and The Ike & Tina Turner Show (Vol. 2). The Kings of Rhythm member Jimmy Thomas promoted it together with the Ikettes at the TV-Show Hollywood A Go-Go in 1965 and Ike & Tina performed it at the German Beat Club in 1971. Tina re-recorded the track in 1993 for the soundtrack album What’s Love Got To To With It. The b-side track from the same named album was also a single the same year.
