What You Get Is What You See is an up-styled country-tinged rock track featuring Eric Clapton on guitars. Tina promoted the song at several TV-Shows and performed it live at her Break Every Rule Tour and twenty years later at her 50th Anniversary Tour. Live versions are available on the album Live In Europe from 1988 and TINA Live from 2009. The single was reviewed from Billboard magazine in it’s issue from February 7, 1987. The song was used in a commercial for the Australian New South Wales Rugby League in 1989 and was reissued in 1995 under the 'Back to Back Hit Series‘ on the Collectables label.

The music video shows Tina with a blue mini dress and a jeans jacket outside on a stage near a gasoline station. While she is performing the song, we see some good looking men around her, according to the song text. At the end, Tina wears a jeans and drives away with a motorcycle.
