The first single in England was the rock song Addicted To Love, originally from Robert Palmer. In Germany and some other European countries, Nutbush City Limits was instead the first single. Both singles included a ten minutes version of the ZZ-Top cover „Legs,“ recorded live in 1985. The second single in the UK was A Change Is Gonna Come, a soul song from 1964 with Robert Cray playing the guitar part. Tonight, recorded at the NEC in Birmingham with guest vocals from David Bowie reached #1 in the Netherlands and was also released in other European countries. The last single was the Wilson Pickett soul cover 634-5789, a duet together with Robert Cray. Capitol Records in North America released two promotional sampler for R&B and Rock radio stations.

Tina’s legendary concert at the Estádio do Maracanã in Rio de Janeiro on January 16, 1988 was broadcasted live on TV in North and South America and was released on the Rio '88 home video the same year. In 2022 it was remastered and re-issued as part of the Break Every Rule (Deluxe Edition).
This fine two-record compendium should have legs to rival Tina’s own. Featured are Turner’s own recent hits: oldies — Ike & Tina Turner and otherwise; blistering covers of such modern-day staples as „Addicted To Love“ and guest shots by David Bowie, Robert Cray, Bryan Adams, and Eric Clapton. LP buyers really lose out: Cassette and CD packages contain four extra tracks.
