Tonight was recorded at Tina’s Private Dancer Tour in Birmingham with guest vocals from David Bowie. It was first released in Holland, where it reached #1 on the charts and was then also issued in other European countries, but not in England. The original studio version of the song, taken from David's Tonight album, was already a single in 1984.

Tina Turner & David Bowie - Tonight - Music Video

The music video shows Tina in a black leather dress, talking to the audience and singing the first part alone. Then David appears from behind on a platform, and the whole crowd went crazy. While he sings the second part, he comes down the stairways to Tina. During the instrumental part of the song Tina and David dancing together and they finish the song as a duet.
