Zabou is a German soundtrack album with the track A Change Is Gonna Come from Tina Turner. The song was written and originally released from Sam Cooke in 1964. Tina covered it for her Break Every Rule TV-Special together with Robert Cray on guitar and recorded also this studio version in 1987, produced from the British Electric Foundation (B.E.F.) and until today only available on this album. To promote the movie and the soundtrack, an additional promotional single was released for radio stations, featuring also a track from Joe Cocker.
In 1988, a live version from the album Live In Europe was released as a single in England and a remixed version was released on the sampler Music of Quality and Distinction (Vol. 2) in 1991 and the box set The Collected Recordings in 1994.
