The Tom Jones Show was a television variety show, produced in Vancouver, Canada with 24 episodes between 1980 and 1981. Tom performed his old hits solo in addition to new songs with special duet partners like Dionne Warwick, Chaka Khan and Donny and Marie Osmond. Tina Turner was guest in 1981 with the performance of two songs. The duet Hot Legs was released as a single in Germany and the complete performance is available on the home video Tom Jones & Friends.
Tina was already a special guest at the Warner Theatre in Washington on September 28, 1978, where she performed several songs solo and three songs together with Tom.
