Hot Legs was originally a hit single from Rod Stewart in 1978. Tina performed the song live since her early solo concerts, but never recorded a studio version. This live version is a duet with Tom Jones, recorded at the Tom Jones Show in Vancouver, Canada on September 01, 1981. The complete performance is available on the Tom Jones & Friends home video. The single was only released in Germany.

Short Stories (She’s A Lady) is a 2CD set from Tom Jones, featuring songs from the Tom Jones Show. It includes the duet Hot Legs with Tina Turner.

The Tom Jones Show was a television variety show, produced in Vancouver. The twenty four episodes were hosted by Tom Jones and broadcasted in 1980 and 1981. Tom performed his old hits solo in addition to new songs with special duet partners like Dionne Warwick, Chaka Khan, Donny and Marie Osmond and Tina Turner.

Tina performed also previously with Tom Jones as a special guest at the Warner Theatre in Washington on September 28, 1978 with several songs solo and three songs together with Tom.

The home video Tom Jones & Friends includes the additional solo live performance from Tina on the track „Take A Little Pain,“ written by Tina’s assistant Eddy Armani.
