Bold Soul Sister (the best of the blue thumb recordings) features nearly the complete album Outta Season and selected tracks from the album The Hunter - both released from Blue Thumb Records in 1969. It includes with I’ve Been Loving You Too Long Ike & Tina’s signature live song and with „I Am A Motherless Child“ a track written by Tina Turner, which she re-recorded in 2014 for the album Love Within. All cover pictures were photographed by Norman Seeff at a session in 1975. The same tracks, but in a slightly different order have been re-issued in 1999 under the title Classic, with a cover picture taken from Ike & Tina’s appearance at the TV-Show Ready, Steady, Go! on September 30, 1966.
