Awakening Beyond

is a Swiss filmmaker, editor and photographer and founder of NB Cameraworks. Regards, the agency he co-founded, was one of the best-known national photo agencies in the 1990s and supplied domestic and foreign media with photographic material from Switzerland. He worked for many years as a photographer for the Tagesanzeiger magazine and became internationally known for his reports from Afghanistan, Yemen, Syria, Libya, Iraq, Somalia, Sudan, Liberia and other countries.

Nathan worked with Tina Turner since she started with Regula Curti and Dechen Shak-Dagsay the Beyond project in 2009. Since then, he provided many wonderful pictures for the booklets and promotional material.

are a German photography duo based in Munich. They have been working together since 2000, creating stunning images that capture the beauty of everyday life, exhibited in galleries and museums around the world, including the Museum of Modern Art in New York and the Centre Pompidou in Paris. Their photographs have also been featured in numerous publications such as Harper’s Bazaar and New York Times.

For the April issue of the German Vogue magazine in 2013, they photographed Tina at her home in Switzerland and in the studio. Tina was at this time at the age of 73 the oldest person on this cover. Also the picture of Tina for the Awakening Beyond album was photographed from them.
