Ike & Tina Turner - Respect - Single

Respect is a French single, released at the end of 1970 to promote the French concerts of Ike & Tina’s European tour in January 1971. Their performances on two nights at the Olympia in Paris were recorded and released on the album Live In Paris the same year. The single includes two live songs, taken from the album In Person from 1969. The original version on the album has a length of over eight minutes. Both tracks are cover songs: The title track was originally released from Otis Redding in 1965 and the b-side from Dusty Springfield in 1968.
