Portrait Of A Legend was a biographyical TV-Series. It portrayed celebrities like Jerry Lee Lewis, Little Richard, Petula Clark, Stevie Wonder, Olivia Newton-John, James Brown, Kris Kristofferson and Gladys Knight. In the episode from May 03, 1983, Tina Turner was joking about to be a living legend and was speaking about the beginning of her singing career in the church, meeting Ike Turner, The Ikettes, dancing and the movie Tommy. In between they showed live performances from Ike & Tina and Tina solo, including the very rare performance of the song „I'm A Mean Ole Lion“ from the Lynn Anderson Show in 1977.
