Vibes is a sampler featuring songs with lead vocals from Tina Turner, The Ikettes and Fontella Bass, mostly taken from the album Cussin', Cryin' And Carryin’ On as well as some instrumental tracks from the Ike Turner solo album A Black Man’s Soul, both originally released in 1969. The 2 Record Set comes with a wonderful gatefold cover and liner notes from Matt Ashley. In Europe, an abridged version was additionally released with selected tracks on one disc with the same title, as well as under the different title Black Beauty in France.
