Ike & Tina Turner - The Wedding - Single

The Wedding is a cover song, originally released from The Solataires in 1955. Ike & Tina performed it normally as a medley in their live shows together with the song Please, Please, Please, which is a James Brown cover and was released twice as a single - first in 1964 and once again in 1970. The duo performed it also live at The Big TNT Show in 1965. The single was released without a picture cover, but with a sticker, and is credited to Tina Turner. The title tracks were taken from the album Revue Live from 1964 and the bonus track A Fool In Love from the album Festival of Live Performances from 1970. The single was announced in Billboard magazine on September 22, 1984.
