Proud Mary is a reissue with two of Ike & Tina’s greatest hits: The duos biggest hit with Proud Mary from 1971 and the self-written Nutbush City Limits from 1973. The single was released with different cover pictures to coincide with the release of sampler like Pop Chronik. The same tracks were also released as part of the „Hit Story ,“ „Silver Spotlight“ and „Do You Remember“ series.
