It’s Your Thing is a concert movie from The Isley Brothers, filmed in New York at Yankee Stadium on June 21, 1969. The segment with Ike & Tina (including the Ikettes Esther Jones, Vera Hamilton and Jean Brown) was recorded separately in 1970 and spliced into the movie. It includes also performances by Patty Austin, Five Stair Steps and Cubie, The Edwin Hawkins Singers, Jackie Mabley, Clara Ward Singers, The Brooklyn Bridge, and The Winstons. Because Ike & Tina didn’t participate in the original concert, they are not part of the associated soundtrack album, but they recorded the title song, released on some rarities sampler. The movie poster is available in two versions - with and without Ike & Tina and the movie is still waiting for a release on home video.
