I Can’t Believe What You Say is a non album track, but was also included with live overdubs on the 1964 album Revue Live. Ike & Tina promoted the song at the TV-Shows American Bandstand and Shindig! in 1965. A different version was released in 1971 on the album Her Man…His Woman and an Ike Turner version is available on the album The Edge from 1980. Pick Of The Week: This Kent outing for Ike & Tina Turner is already stirring up a heap of attention. Tagged „I Can’t Believe What You Say,“ it’s a high-speed handclapping twister that sports a host of ultra-commercial vocal and instrumental sounds. Watch it. Backing’s a soul-filled shuflle-rock blueser that Tina wails with loads of feeling. (Kent 402)
