ABC Monday Comedy Special (1977)

The ABC Monday Comedy Special was broadcasted between May and September 1977 and covered an assortment of episodes for proposed series that did not make the schedule, as well as leftovers from shows that had been cancelled. ABC wanted an updated 70s version of musical shows like Shindig! and Hullabaloo and called it „Constantinople,“ but they decided not to pick up the series and aired the pilot later as part of the „ABC Mondy Comedy Special“ on July 25, 1977. It was recorded in late 1976, with Tina Turner as a guest star.
