TINA: Song

What’s Love Got To Do With It

is a pop song and Tina’s first #1 in America after it was released as the first single from the album Private Dancer. Before Tina recorded the track, it was offered to some other artists like Cliff Richard, Phyllis Hyman and Donna Summer, who all rejected it. Tina performed it live at every concert tour, available on many home videos. In 1993, the song's title was used for the biographical movie about Tina's life story. The song won two Grammy Awards in 1985 and in 2012 it was inducted into the Grammy Hall of Fame. A Symphonic version was released as a digital single in 2018, recorded by the London Studio Orchestra in the legendary Abbey Road Studios and in 2020, the DJ Kygo released a remixed version, which topped the iTunes charts worldwide.
