What You Hear Is What You Get is an extended play promotional single with three live tracks from the album What You Hear Is What You Get (Live at Carnegie Hall). Ike and Tina performed a doubleheader at the Carnegie Hall in New York City on April 1, 1971. The 7:30 PM show was followed by an 11 o'clock concert that carried on into the early hours of April 2. The studio versions of all three songs from this EP have been released also as separate singles. Included with this promo are strips for Jukeboxes.
