What’s Love Got To Do With It (Symphonic) includes brand new symphonic and string arrangements, taken from the album 80’s Symphonic. In contrast to the original version of What’s Love Got To Do With It from 1984, it features a longer vocal performance from Tina, because this version isn’t faded out at the end of the song. For promotion, Rhino Records released a 5“ CD promo for radio stations.

is a collection combining the original classic tracks of 15 iconic 80's songs from David Bowie, a-ha, Foreigner, Simple Minds, Simply Red, Tina Turner, Pretenders, Ultravox and more with brand new symphonic and string arrangements. The new orchestrations are the work of producer Andy Wright and arranger Sam Swallow, recorded over three days by the 50 piece London Studio Orchestra in the legendary Studio 2 at Abbey Road Studios. Now these are neither re-recordings, nor original vocals with full orchestral arrangements, but rather something in between.
