Tina Turner & Angela Schöneck - Queen of Rock - Book

In the seventies, Tina Turner became famous with the 'Ike and Tina Turner Revue'. However, she only achieved world fame as a solo artist. The steep ascent was followed by a difficult crisis, but in the eighties the rock singer made a legendary comeback. Her album Private Dancer sold over five million copies in the USA alone, and her Break Every Rule Tour in 1987 broke all audience records. After she devoted herself to her private life in recent years, her music is now back in the foreground. With her current album Wildest Dreams and the extremely successful tour of the same name, the Queen of Rock shows once again that she is still an integral part of the current music scene. The book includes numerous illustrations and a foreword by Six Was Nine (support act of the Wildest Dreams Tour).
