Premios Amigo was an annual Spanish music award from 1997 until 2007, to honor the most successful national and international singers and groups in the Spanish charts. It was the equivalent to the Grammy and Brit Awards and was renamed to Premios Odeón in 2020.
Tina Turner received the award in 1999 at a ceremony in the Congress Centre of Madrid, presented by Alejandro Sanz. She also promoted her recent single When The Heartache Is Over on stage.
