My Songs, My Life (Mes chansons, ma vie) is a documentary from the European TV channel arte about Tina Turner’s life and music, based on some of her biggest hits. It includes some scenes from Tina's last full length interview in 2018, some archive footage, as well as statements from friends, companions and admirers: Steve Blame, one of the first MTV moderators; Martyn Ware, who produced Tina’s comeback single Let’s Stay Together; backing vocalist Lisa Fischer on Tina’s last two tours; Maureen Mahon, the writer of the book 'Black Diamond Queens‘; Tina’s friend and photographer Peter Lindbergh and the musician Honeychild Coleman.
