Stephen Paley

Stephen Paley is an American photographer, radio and television producer, music supervisor and actor. His photographs appeared in magazines like Life, Vogue, Newsweek and Rolling Stone, as well as in several books. He also shot album covers for The Allman Brothers, Cher and Aretha Franklin, among others.

Photos from Stephen where used in Vogue magazine in the issue from January 15, 1970. He photographed Ike & Tina at their concert with the Rolling Stones on November 27, 1969 at Madison Square Garden in New York as an opening act and together with Janis Joplin, when she unexpectedly entered the stage to perform the song „Land of 1.000 Dances“ with Tina.
