Proud Mary is a reissue of Ike & Tina’s biggest hit, originally released in 1971 from the album Workin’ Together. The flip side features the Beatles song Come Together from the same named album. This single was released twice with different cover pictures as part of the „Hit Story Series“ in France. The same tracks were also issued in the Netherlands after the release of the album Greatest Hits.
