The Midnight Special was an American late-night musical show on NBC, aired from 1972 to 1981. It was created and produced by Burt Sugarman and featured live or playback performances from popular musical acts. Ike & Tina Turner have been guests in the show five times and also Tina appeared solo twice in 1979 to promote her recent records. On January 05, she was also host of the show.
