Poor Fool was already released in 1960 on the b-side of the single You’re My Baby under the different title „A Fool Too Long.“ Ike & Tina promoted the song at the TV-Show American Bandstand in 1962. Another version is available on the rarities sampler Those Were The Days from 1991. The single was reviewed in Billboard magazine in it’s issue from November 13, 1961.
