Ooh Poop A Doo is a cover from Jessie Hill, originally released in 1960, but with a slightly different title. Tina promoted the song without Ike but together with Neil Sedaka at the TV-Show Shindig! in 1964. Ike & Tina recorded another version of the song for their album Workin’ Together and released this version also as a single in 1971 under the proper titel Ooh Poo Pah Doo.
Unfortunately, it's not quite clear which is the a-side of this single, because it was released just in time for Christmas and CashBox magazine reviewed „Merry Christmas Baby“ in it’s issue from December 12, 1964.
