Mini features all songs with lead vocals by Tina Turner, originally released on the album The Edge in 1980. The instrumental part was played by Home Grown Funk, a popular Memphis group in the ‚70s. Four tracks were already recorded in 1976 for a possibly planned Ike & Tina album, but because Tina left Ike the same year it never materialised.
