JET is an American weekly magazine, focusing on news, culture, and entertainment related to the African-American community, founded in November 1951 by John H. Johnson. The magazine was printed from November 1, 1951, in digest-sized format until it's final issue on June 23, 2014. Since then, it continues as a digital magazine app. Ike & Tina Turner were featured several times in the magazine, three times with a cover story.
