Hollywood Palace was an American television variety show, broadcasted weekly on ABC from 1964 until 1970. It was staged in Hollywood at the former Hollywood Playhouse on Vine Street. The starlet Raquel Welch was cast during the first season as the 'Billboard Girl' who placed the names of the acts on a placard. All episodes were taped before a live audience.
Ike & Tina were guests in 1968 with live performances of two songs. Sammy Davis Jr. was the host of this episode and joined them on stage at the song We Need An Understanding, dancing with The Ikettes.
