16 Great Performances is a sampler with selected tracks from the Blue Thumb longplayers Outta Season and The Hunter, both from 1969. It was released with different front cover illustrations but the same back cover in North America, Australia and England. It’s a reissue of the album The Best of Ike and Tina Turner from the same year, but includes four additional tracks.
