What I Say is the debut record on Ike Turner’s own label Prann, for which he recorded himself under the alias Little Bones. Both tracks are playful covers with a distorted voice, gaining 4 stars from Billboard magazin in it’s issue from March 09, 1963. The title track is a cover of „What I'd Say“ originally by Ray Charles.
