Getting Nasty features two Instrumentals from „Nasty Minds,“ which was an alias for Ike Turner & the Kings of Rhythm. Both tracks were later included into the tracklist of the album A Black Man’s Soul in 1969. The Hip-Hop group 'Jurassic 5' sampled the song in 1997 for their song „Concrete Schoolyard“.
