TINA: Live (Concert)

Hans Christian Andersen Festival (2005)

Tina Turner - Hans Christian Andersen Festival - Concert

Hans Christian Andersen was a Danish author, best remembered for his fairy tales. 2005 was the bicentenary of Andersen’s birth, celebrated with many events in Denmark and around the world. The „Once Upon a Time Festival“ was opened in Copenhagen’s Parken Stadium from Tina Turner with a live performance in front of 40.000 visitors with two of her biggest hits, accompanied by her dancers Clare Louise Turton and Solange Guenier. Tina was also interviewed and the rehearsals in front of many children were filmed for television. After the festival, critical voices criticized the probably very high fee Tina got for this short performance.
