TINA: Duet

Eric Clapton (1986 - '87)

Tina Turner & Eric Clapton - Duet

Live in London (Wembley Arena) 1987

Eric Clapton is an English rock and blues guitarist, singer, and songwriter. He is the only three-time inductee to the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, once as a solo artist and separately as a member of the Yardbirds and of Cream.

Eric invited Tina in 1986 for a duet on the song Tearing Us Apart for his new album August, released also as a single in 1987. For promotion, they performed the track together on the Princes Trust charity concert in June and Eric joined Tina on stage of her Break Every Rule Tour the next year as a special guest at the Wembley Arena in London and performed it once again live with Tina. Both performed once more together on stage at the International Rock Awards in New York City on the song „Keep On Knocking,“ together with Keith Richards.
