Ike Turner - Do Right Baby - Single

Billboard - November 03, 1956

No Coming Back: Gayles follows his successful "Tore Up" with a slow, expressively belted blues ballad. Ike Turner's Rhythm Kings lend a pounding backing. Do Right, Baby: A faster blues on this side with Gayles showing to advantage in his vocalizing with the Rhythm Kings. Singer shows promise for good future waxings.

Cash Box - November 24, 1956

Billy Gayles, currently enjoying a fair success with „I'm Tore Up,“ sings a slow beat rocker and gives it a powerful reading. Gayles can sing, and does. Very exiting deck that bears close watching. It backs with a quick beat rocker, belting it with a socko vocal. Another exciter the market should latch on to. Two sides to be with. They could break out.
