De Van Speyck Show (1974)

De Van Speyck Show (or... then rather the sky) was a monthly Dutch television program from October 1974 until May 1976 with the topics entertainment, art, music, satire and sports. Ike & Tina Turner were guests in the first episode of the show at a television studio at Hilversum, the same day they gave a concert in the Jaap Edenhal in Amsterdam as part of their European tour. Tina, The Ikettes and Ike Turner performed six songs live, including two from Tina’s first solo album Tina Turns The Country On. One of the hosts of the show was Willem Ruis, who was also the host of the Willem Ruis Lotto Show, in which Tina was guest in 1982.
