Cher is an American singer, actress and television personality. She first gained popularity in 1965 as one-half of the folk rock husband-wife duo Sonny & Cher. She became a television personality in the 1970s with The Sonny & Cher Comedy Hour and Cher and while working on television, she established herself as a solo artist.

Cher and Tina started their friendship and their common performances in 1975, while Ike & Tina have been guests on the Cher TV-Show twice. After the break with Ike, Tina performed for the first time solo with Cher in 1977 at the Sonny & Cher Show and then again in 1999 at the Divas Live charity concert and the last time in 2008 at a special Oprah Winfrey show in Las Vegas, where Tina announced her very last concert tour.
