Do You Mean It features vocals from the Kings of Rhythm member Clayton Love on both tracks. She Made My Blood Run Cold from the flip-side was also released as a single in 1961 on 'King 5553'. Both tracks were recorded at Ike Turner’s last session for Federal in Cincinnati on April 09, 1957 and have been reissud on the sampler Trailblazer in 1991.

A: Ike Turner wails a rhythmie middle beat jump with a gusto filled projection. Good Lindy hopper material.
B: Novelty slow beat rocker with an air of mystery. Dramatie perfornance that makes for good programming. Turner handles it well.
