Vota La Voce was an annual music competition and festival, conceived by Gigi Vesigna in 1973 and produced for twenty-seven editions until 2000. The 17th edition was broadcasted on Canale 5 from the Roman Theatre of Fiesole in 1989 with Tina Turner performing her recent single The Best. Hosts of the show were Red Ronnie and Lorella Cuccarini. Tina was also in the audience viewing the show and won a special prize.
