Shake A Tail Feather was taken from the album So Fine, released as an European single in 1969 with lead vocals from Tina. It’s a cover song from 1963, originally from The Five Du-Tones. The Ikettes usually performed the song in concerts, live versions are available on the album Live In Paris and Show Live (Vol. 2). The Kings of Rhythm member Jimmy Thomas promoted the song with the Ikettes at the TV-Show Hollywood A Go-Go in 1965. Tina re-recorded the track in 1993 for the soundtrack album What’s Love Got To To With It. The b-side Cussin’, Cryin’ & Carryin’ On from the same named album, was also a single the same year.
