Sepia was a photojournalistic magazine featuring articles based primarily on achievements of African Americans. It was founded in 1946 with it’s final issue in 1983. Ike & Tina Turner appeared on the June 1974 issue to promote their Grammy-nominated album The Gospel According to Ike & Tina.
