Tina Turner - Friday Night Videos - TV

Friday Night Videos was an American music video show on NBC from July 1983 to May 2002. It was the network's attempt to capitalize on the emerging popularity of music videos as seen on MTV. In 1989, Tina Turner was a guest VJ on the show, joining Paul Schaffer to introduce some of her favorite videos. Paul is a big fan of Phil Spector, so he takes the opportunity to ask some questions about the recording of River Deep, Mountain High in 1966 and Tina shared some interesting anecdotes. Besides that, she talked about the recording of her recent album Foreign Affair and riding horseback for the The Best music video.
