IKE & TINA: Song

Nutbush City Limits

was written by Tina Turner, because the melody reminded her of her hometown Nutbush and is one of Ike & Tina's biggest hits, especially in Europe. The duo performed the song live at several TV-Shows and in their late concerts, but strangely enough no live version was released on any album. Tina recorded a dance version in 1991 for her greatest hits collection Simply The Best and a more original styled version for the What’s Love Got To Do With It soundtrack album in 1993. She performed it also live in nearly every solo concert, available on many home videos.
