TINA: Song

Land of 1.000 Dances

was written and first recorded by Chris Kenner in 1962, but it later became a bigger hit for Wilson Pickett. The song references a number of dance styles including the Twist and the Pony. Tina Turner covered it in 1986 for her Break Every Rule special, first released on TV and later also on home video.
